Carl Sutton is a man of God, a father, an uncle, a brother, a son, a friend, a counselor and community leader. He has had successful outcome with his own children and has implemented those processes to the youth that he has taught and mentored. He has  a passion for children and works hard to let them know and be there for them in every aspect. He makes himself available to help them know and learn that they can do better with a little hard work and consistency. His focus is to provide children with community with support for higher learning and life skills. His goal is to provide exposure for new opportunity among youth and does so from the simplest of tasks such as tying ties to implementing on on one mentorship and support. 

Anthony King

Born in Fort Lauderdale, FL and serving 9 years in the United States Air Force, Anthony King received an Honorable Discharge. He has a Bachelor’s in Social Work and is an employee currently at the Livingston Collegiate Academy. In his current role he serves students in the Journey Program, which is a part of the Special Education Department. He provides support and education for children diagnosed with Emotional Disturbance Disorders. With an esteemed passion for the youth, he has worked with them for more than 20 years. A married father for over 20 year, and grandparent, he cannot see his life without family and a community setting. Mr. King is committed to service, and follows through with his purpose as a valued member of Keep Rising. He is dedicated to the families of The New Orleans Metropolitan area and is focused on changing the trajectory of the lives of area youth.

Steven Jackson

Steven L. Jackson is a native of New Orleans. He is married to his wife of twenty-two years; they have three beautiful children. He is a veteran of the United States Navy, where he served as a Hospital Corpsman. Educated at the University of Phoenix, Mr. Jackson received his Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree in Business Administration.  For a number of years, he worked in the educational system as a Dean of Students and a Physical Education Teacher. While also working in the educational system, he also served as an assistant football coach. Mr. Jackson is committed to the care and development of children, and sees his role in Keep Rising as a continued way to serve the youth.
